Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills forall of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

It is with great sadness I have to tell you we have lost our fantastic Doe Carrys. She has played a huge part in developing our lines has they are today. she is mother to our lovely Doe Millicent & our Award winning Buck Jenson. she is also mother to Ferrari who on his 1st outing as an U/5 won Best of Breed. She had just brought a litter of 2 up & had been weaned from them a couple of weeks, when she just seemed to loose the will to live, We have decided to keep both the youngsters an Opal Buck named Audi & an Agouti Doe named Clara. her memory will live on in her off spring.
Sweet Dreams Carrys x

Bradley
It is with sadness I have to say that Bardley past away in September 08. It as all been very upsetting & hard to come to terms with.. He was bitten in his ear by I suspect a Horse fly. We took him to the vets where they treated him straight away, he developed an abcess which had to be drained, & was given a course of Antibiotics. We really thought he had got over it, He had started to regain the weight he had lost, We knew we would not be able to show him again due to the scarring, but he was to remain our main Stud Buck. but it wasn't to be, the abcess returned, he was given more antibiotics but it was all to much for him & he lost the fight.
Monica had been mated to him when he was feeling better & she produced a fantastic litter we have kept one of the Bucks back. He is called Brads Lad. has he is developing he looks more like his dad day by day. both in looks & temprement. Also Bradley is the sire to our Melody & Minataur.so we feel he well & truely left his mark.

March 03 / May 08
I have been dreading the day, I would have to say goodbye to our dear friend Mildred. She was our first French Lop originaly bought as a pet. She was such a loving Rabbit,We kind of got hooked on Frenchies.& has they say the rest is History.Mildred will always remain special in our hearts,we did have a few litters from her when she was a youngster. As she got older we paired her up with Echo they loved each other very much. I think when we lost Echo in March she pined for him. Lets hope they find peace together at Rainbow Bridge.
